Is It Possible That Itching In Body Is Caused By Hydrocodone Taken For Chronic Constipation?
I hurt really bad from cronic constipation. I could not walk without pain. They gave me hydrocodone at the hospital. It made me itch all over. I took it again at home and it did the same thing. What is in it to make me itch. There must be something I am allergic to in it.

Hi,
Hydrocodone is opioid derivative from codeine. It is pain killer and antitussive. It may be responsible for severe itching and skin rash . You avoid to take it. Take antihistaminics like levocetirizine to relieve itch. You may take some other medicine for constipation like isapgul. I hope you got my answer.
