Is It Possible That Swimmers In The Olympics Could Bring A Disease Home?
Is it possible that participants in the Olympics could bring a disease home with them, especially the swimmers. My husband suffered from sepsis in a recent hospitalization and it was difficult to beat. Finally a combination of 3 or 4 antibiotics beat it. It was unbelievable what a struggle it was. He lost 75 percent of his muscle trying to defeat it. This is just my experience with this kind of bacteria, but as they are worried about the bacteria in the water in Brazil could the swimmers become carriers. After all they may be returning to all corners of the earth. What are the chances this could happen. Could be a new plague. No panic but could this be overlooked? What a mess it could be...Jan
