Is It Possible To Check HIV Infection Without The Test?
Hi Dr, i did take blood test last week not Hiv test, my Dr says, i've got a virus and my immune system is very low, can that be " i might have Hiv virus or it can be any virus? but is it possible to know if someone has an Hiv virus without using an Hiv test?

HIV is diagnosed by standard HIV tests.
There are a lot of tests available for this purpose.
But a non hiv test cannot detect HIV. But he might have made this comment because of some other finding in blood examination pointing towards reduced immunity like severe leucopenia ( very low wbc count
