Is It Possible To Get Dandruff On Pubic Hair?

Is it possible to get dandruff on your pubic hair? because for a few days now i have been itching where ever my pubic hair is and this morning i was scratching down there and i had white flacks under my figure nails. I look further and I have what looks like dandruff on all my pubic hair. Is this even possible? I don t even have dandruff on my head, and i never have. If this is really dandruff what can i do to get rid of it? It will itch sometimes and it gets really annoying. Please help??

I can understand your concern for dandruff in pubic hair. It is quite possible to get flaking and dandruff kind of scaling over pubic hair. You have not given details of your age, gender and related medical history so that I could have helped you better.
In your kind of cases it is important to shave off the hair to maintain a good hygiene. An antifungal skin cream such as clotrimazole can be applied over the affected area. In case of itching an anti-histamine such as cetrizine can be taken for two times.
