Is It Possible To Get Pregnant By Protected Sex Despite Being On Plan B?

Hello, I recently had unprotected sex and so I took Plan B. However, I got the timing wrong for the second pill. I accidentally took it four hours late. I was just wondering if I should take another dose or if the pill is still going to be effective?

Hi,
I understand your query 7 concern.
Plan b 2 is an emergency contraceptive with 2 step intake of hormone. Both the doses are to be consumed 12 hours apart ideally.. but they need to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. you were late in taking 2nd dose, still if both the doses were finished within 72 hours it should work.
Repeating pills after 72 hours is without any effect & also such intake would raise hormonal level haphazardly .. in turn causing hormonal imbalance.So better avoid repeat dose.. wait for the period.. ( which will be delayed by 8 days after plan B ).. & if there is no bleeding consult doctor for MTP....as per need.
