Is It Possible To Have Ulcerative Colitis Without Symptoms Despite Positive Inflammatory Bowel Markers, Anemia, Weight Loss, And Elevated ESR/CRP?

I just had an Inflammatory Bowel panel drawn which came back positive. My infectious disease MD was looking for the cause of my ESR of 119, and CRP of 79. I have very mild cramping and about 2 loose stools a day, no mucus of bloody stools though. I've had an EGD/colonoscopy that were negative, and stool for occult blood is negative. However, my Hgb/Hct has dropped 4 counts over the last 2 months, from 14/40 to 10/32. I've had debilitating new headaches also. I've also lost 20 lbs without trying, over 4 months. My ID MD tells me that I most likely have "ulcerative colitis, without the colitis". I did not know this was possible, and don't read anything about this on the internet. What can you say about this?
