Is It Possible To Stop BP Medicine Once It Is Under Control?

I have had high blood pressure for about 5 years now. I started taking meds about 3 years ago and was overweight about 275. About 6 months ago i changed my diet and started running daily. I now weigh 200 and feel great until I take my meds. My blood pressure is very low now and i monitor it daily! Should i be able to quit taking the blood pressure meds?

Hi,
You can not stop blood pressure medicine without consulting your doctor.
If require he will cut down the dose and will put on maintenance dose.
Go for regular blood pressure measuring.
Ok and take care.
