Is It Required To Do Diabetes Test In Every 6 Months?

My mother has visited Dr Mohan diabetic center in Hyderabad 6 months back at the time they have done lot of tests to there and they never changed any medicines what she is using which was prescribed by another doctor. Will it require all these tests for diabetic patient for every 6 months???

Hello,
You should keep your sugar levels tested every 6 weeks instead of 6 months.
You never know when these anti diabetic medicines would loose their efficacy.
Any medicine given for diabetes is not Permanant and one does need to either change the dose of medicine or change the medicine as the age progresses.
