Is It Safe For A Paraplegic To Travel From Middle East To Ohio?

My uncle is a 40 year old paraplegic and lives in the Middle East and he wants to come to Ohio for a visit. Is that safe? I feeel like there could be a lot of complications with flying for such a long period of time. He has been paralyzed for about 15 years and has a history of having complications from the paralysis
