Is It Safe To Apply Thrombophlebitis Gel On A Reddish-black Clot At A Blood Draw Site?

Halo, yesterday I had to go for a blood test. After taking blood, they put a sticker on the needle point. In evening when I removed the sticker, I found reddish and blackish blood clot . Today I have applied Thrombophlebitis gel on clot sign. Is it alright ? Will it be ok causing no harm ?
