Is It Safe To Be In Contaminated Building After Yellow Fever Injection?
Hi there, I have had a yellow fever injection as I'm traveling abroad over the next month. My work environment has higher fungal levels then normal due to the massive flooding and contamination of the building. We've been told that it's not unsafe for healthy people and I'm concerned that since I have recently received the injection that it might be best to avoid the office. I have been feeling a bit run down and have had headaches. Any advice?
Thank you for query. There is no relation of yellow fever vaccine and fungal contamination in your office. But for your health you can avoid the damp area with fungus .Such areas are prone for respiratory infections due to dampness.also fungal infections also can be acquired. The symptoms of headache fever may be due to respiratory infection .take paracetamol and antihistamines like cetrizine.if does not subside consult doctor. You can get back to me for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
