Is It Safe To Continue Category C Antipsychotics And Antidepressants During Pregnancy?
I just found out I am pregnant (no more than 3 weeks), but I am taking 3 category C antipsychotics and antidepressants for Bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, and PTSD. Last time I went off those meds, I went into a severe manic state for two weeks, and then I was severely depressed for another 2 weeks, and I almost killed myself. If I decide to continue with the pregnancy, do I have to stop my medications? What risks are associated with staying on my medications and continuing the pregnancy?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the pregnancy then it is highly advisable to avoid taking all the medicines because it may cause some harm to baby, and if this is the antipsychiatric drugs then this would be more danger, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
