HELLO SIR,I AM A 25 YR OLD WOMEN, AND HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED TO HAVE PCOD SINCE ALMOST 4 YEARS NOW. I WAS UNDER HOMEOPATHY MEDICATION FOR A YEAR WHEN , I WAS 21 YRS LATER I DISCONTINUED. NOW I HAVE STARTED TAKING THE HOMEO MEDICINE AGAIN , ALONG WITH THE METFORMIN 850MG. MY HEIGHT IS 166CMS AND WEIGHT KEEPS VARRYING BETWEEN 72 - 78 KILOS. I AM ALSO SUFFERING FROM HIRSUTISM AND HAIR FALL. MY DOCTOR SUGGEST ME TO CONTINUE WITH SAME MEDICINES FOR ONE YEAR WITH SOME EXERCISES. MY LEFT OVARY SIZE IS 15 CC AND RIGHT OVARY IS 16CC. CAN YOU HELP ME?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. PCOD needs to be treated in following way: 1. Regularization of cycles by using combined birth control pills. 2. Induction of ovulation by using Clomifen citrate and Metformin. 3. Anti-androgen drug Spironolactone. 4. Weight reduction by diet and exercise. This will help you to increase the chances to conceive. I do not know how much homeopathy medicine would help. Also taking metformin alone might not help much. Kindly consult Gynecologist for proper advise and management by following the above treatment plan. Wish you all the best.
