Is It Safe To Drive While On Medications For Seizures?

I was recently in the hospital for dehydration, couldn t sleep in the hospital bed the 4 nights and day I was there, which lead to seizures on the hospital bed, I have not had seizures for 20+ years, I have been out of the hospital for 10 days now, taking an anti seizure med, can I drive vehicles on the road ?

A patient that takes pills against seizures can drive but he has to be seizure-free for a certain period of time before he is allowed to drive again. This seizure-free period of time depends on the rules and regulations of each country but is generally around a year.
So, it is not the antiepileptic drugs that are a major concern if one should drive or not, it is the risk of the seizures to recur and this is higher if a seizure happened recently.
