Is It Safe To Feed Baby With Cerelac?

Hi! My son was diagnosed with Cow s Milk Allergy at 2 months old. That time, he had gastro-intestinal bleeding, hence there were blood in his stool. Also his platelet count really went down. Now, he s on soya-formula. My question is, is it safe to feed my baby with cerelac now he s 4 months old?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

We do recommend mothers to give fresh prepared fruit juice to 4 months old babies rather than cerelac. I think you should continue with milk feeding and start fruit juice and blended fruits and vegetables rather than cerelac. You can start cerelac once he'll be 6 months old.

All the best. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
