Is It Safe To Fly After Undergoing A Triple Bypass Surgery?

hello,i had my triple bypass on 13th May 2011, out of the hospital in 6days,doing fine now in recovery at home,i can walk for 200meter 2times a day and feels ok, still feels some tightness at the upper part of the stitches (upper chest)

i am 45y male,a cabin crew,and has work in the airline for 23years.

i realy need to fly to Jakarta day after tomorrow.as a pasenger,not as a crew.(2hours flight) and back home on the next day. Any advice?? its it safe,? if not why?

Hi,
after a CABG, patients are safe to travel usually after a post surgical period of 3-4 months.
just do a follow up with your cardiologist abd cardiac surgeon and they would be better able to guide you.
