Is It Safe To Get A Tattoo Over Morphea Scars If I M No Longer On Treatment?

Hi, I have diagnosed with morphea since 2017 but I start a treatment on 2018 and stop that treatment in 2020 using methotrexate and folsan. The thigh and legs got more scars and a little bit in the stomach. I do an overall checkup ant it all ok and now I want to have a tattoo over the scars of morphea. Is that dangerous for my health? Thanks you so much.

Hello,

It is better to avoid tattoos. It might trigger underlying morphea. The tattoo ink might trigger morphea or other allergic reactions.
