General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the sequence of fever is usual for a tiny tot after vaccination due to immune response. The DPT and DPAT will not pause issue of fever due to formulation differences. The Dolopar has to be continued every 6 hourly. Usually it takes around a period of 1-2 days to settle down the temperature spikes. Local area swelling can be relieved by ice application.

However, if the fever continues on third day, immediately consult his pediatrician for further guidelines. Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids throughout the period of therapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
