I am not giving my bm to my baby girl. Hardly she was taken my bm about one and half moonth back. Now she is 3 month old and her weight is 4.5 kg around. She is on lactogen. Is that ok for her becoz when i was at hospital from that time she was on lactogen and ofccourse my bm also. Welcome to HCM
This is Dr Amit. Let me help you in this case.
As per my opinion till 6 months you have to give your breast milk to your baby girl nothing else (not even water) as per the Guidelines by WHO and after 6 months you can start supplementary feeding.
If you are having any problem in the breastfeeding then I will advice you to go for NAN as Nan's formula is much closer to mother's milk and it also provide the power to fight with infection which only mother' milk can provide.
Hope i have given satisfactory answers to your question
Regards
