Is It Safe To Give Moxikind Cv 625 For Persistent Cough?

can moxikind cv 625 be given to 12 year child for bad persistant cough,he had bad throat infection with swollen glands and persistant cough,so doctor prescribed him moxikind which was last month.the dosage was stopped after 5 days as per doctors instruction..now again it has come back but only with persistant cough no throat infection.followed by cold..thanx
