Is It Safe To Go For Liver Transplant While Suffering From Congestive Heart Failure?

My sister was told she needed a liver transplant about 6 months ago. She is extremely over weight. She has congestive heart failure, her pancreas has shut down, and she's a diabetic. She has been passing blood thru her bowels. The family was wondering what we can expect next and if we are losing her. If so, how long till this happens?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. IN liver failure the only chance is liver transplant. Diabetes can be controlled well with Insulin ( as pancreas has shut down), Her ecocardiagraphy will guide the Doctors whether she can be subjected to such a major surgery. So in this patient it is basically a multispeciality treatment module and if all Doctors come together to decide what is best for the patient.
