Is It Safe To Go For Swimming After Abortion?

I had an abortion about a week ago and took all the medications they gave to me and didnt really have any type of pain and my bleeding has been pretty normal. I am leaving for the beach on saturday and will be gone for two weeks, will it be okay to use a tampon if needed and will it be okay to go swimming? I am 20, 160lbs, 5'5

Hallow Madam,

Which method you had taken to undergo abortion? If you have terminated the pregnancy by medicines, if the bleeding has stopped and if you are not feeling week, you may start swimming after 3 weeks. For surgical evacuation, wait for the next menses to appear.

Before you start swimming, you must ensure that there is no bleeding at all. The tissues are also regenerating. So you have to take all the care to avoid any infection. Pads or Tampons may get wet contaminating the vaginal bleeding if it is there.

It is entirely up on how you feel - still week or energetic.
