Hello and welcome to HCM,
The history of irregular periods along with prescription of clomid suggests that you are suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
PCOS is characterized by absence of regular ovulation due to lack of dominant follicle in the ovaries.
Along with this, there is increase in level of testosterone and luteinizing hormone (LH).
Due to absence of ovulation, conception does not occur.
Continue the treatment and get regular follicular scan,
The follicles of the ovary can be monitored regularly.
Once the dominant follicle is formed, and ruptures, intercourse can be planned and conception will take place.

Thanks and take care
