Is It Safe To Have Intercourse During Pregnancy With Placental Abruption?

I am 9 weeks pregnant and have been diagnosed with placenta abrution. I am told that my tear is small and should heal itself, however I have been told to take it very easy and limit my activity, including intercourse. My question is, will I be ok to have a orgasm or get sexually aroused without any penetration or intercourse?

hi. since you have had abruption intercourse is absolutely contraindicated till your ultrasound continues to show subchorionic bleed as intercourse can even cause Miscarriage to occur . at the same time no lifting weight and complete rest. also start tab susten 200 mg twice a day till 18 weeks as it provides additional support to the pregnancy. all the best take care.
