Is It Safe To Have Oral Medicine ST Mom For Abortion Instead Of D&C After Suffering Miscarriage?

I am Najma and i am 30 years old. I have two children. After 6 years gap of my second child, i conceived and suffered miscarriage. So, underwent D&C. Again, after gap of 9 months, I conceived. But unfortunately, my 4 weeks pregnancy could not grow and after 8 weeks i knew about missed abortion. The size of the baby is 4.7 mm which could not grow. The doctor has advised my to miscarry the pregnancy through oral medicine (S T Mom) instead of D&C. I have taken one course of 6 tablets and after gap of 24 hours I am taking second course of the same medicine. The bleeding is not too fast rather slow. Would it be safe method to release?

It is safe to undergo medical abortion under surveillance of a specialist and is effective also. Sometimes, the first dose may not be effective and you may need a repeat dose. Monitoring is necessary throughout. Please also get your bleeding and clotting times tested. Maintain genital hygiene. Misoprostol in combination with Mifepristone is a more effective method of inducing a medical abortion. Please ask your doctor if the current treatment is ineffective. Hope this helps.
