Is It Safe To Have Sex After Hysterectomy?

I had a Davinci Hysterectomey two and a half years ago, kept both ovaries. I had minor problems healing inside (bled a little bit three weeks after my surgery). I haven t had sex after my hysterectomy. In fact, I have avoided dating for fear of having sex. My question is: What could I expect about having sex after two years of my hysterectomy? How can I know if I am completely healed of if my vagina is still healthy enough for sex? Thanks so much for your time.

Hi, I think you can have contact now. Generally it takes 6 months for the stitch to heal. So, 2 years is enough. Hope I have answered your question.
