Is It Safe To Have Sex During Period?

I am a female.my friend wants to have sex now and then with me.i enjoy doing sex but I think that i will not feel comfortable If i will have sex during periods and I think that it may be harmful to do sex during period. I can t say no to him.is there any medicine to delay periods?

It is not safe to have intercourse during a period because of the fact that the soft parts are very vulnerable at that time and therefore more prone to infections. It is safe as far as the risk of conception is concerned. Also, you may consume tablets to postpone periods once but not always. Instead, you can opt for contraceptive pills that can be used continuously without attaining a period. This is also safer toward contraception. Hope you find this information useful.
