Is It Safe To Have Unprotected Sex After Finishing The Antibiotics Course?

I was on antibiotics for 2 days to treat an infection. I'm also on lo loestrin fe birth control. I just started my period two days ago and I'm going to start my new pack today. It's been 11 days since I finished my antibiotics. Would it be safe to have unprotected sex? Or should I wait longer?

Hi,

If you mean safety from any genital infection you had. You need to get checked from your treating doctor and get confirmed of cure of infection. Genital infection some time needs treatment of both sex partners, for complete cure of infection. For family planning safety, you should start new pack of contraceptive pill and be protected.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
