Is It Safe To Keep The Wound Open And Dry After A Deep Monkey Bite Is Treated With Cleaning, Stitches, TT, ARV, And HRIG?

I had a deep monkey bite after bite within 5 mints I wash my wound with handwash and with in 20 mint I reached to the doctor where after cleaning with some liquid I got stitches.. I have also taken tt Arv 1st dose and hrig ... but after 24 my doctor removed the dressing and ask it to keep open and dry ... is there is any chance of infection
