Is It Safe To Plan Pregnancy While On Thyronorm And TSH Level 4.85?

hello,
my age is 29, i suffering from hypothyriodisym. I have 3 year old daughter. i want to plan second baby . but i want know that my thyriod will play any role in baby's growth. my TSH level is 4.85and i am takeing thyronorm25mcg.
it is safe to concivie baby ? due to thyriod any phyical or mental disorder occure in newborn? if possible pl reply.

Hi ,
Having hypothyroidism first mean that you cannot have one more child . You just need to have your thyroid hormone level within normal level hence should be under regular check up under a obstetrics clinic (at least three times and as an when required ).
Your tsh level is on higher side so first you need to normalise it with your General physicians guidance probably by increasing your thyroxine dose.And once normalise you can plan for baby.
Hoping forward to listen having a nice healthy baby from you.
