Is It Safe To Smoke Electronic Cigarette After Tonsil Surgery?

I m on my 9th day after getting my tonsils out, I want to ask, is it safe to smoke an electronic cigarette by now? I m asking for answer not someone telling me smoking is bad. I know this and hear it all that. Please answer the question and it ll be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
