Is It Safe To Smoke Marijuana Before Abortion?

I have a consultation Friday morning for an abortion. I will be scheduled again for my procedure (the pill), 5-7 days after my consultation. Is it safe for me to smoke marijuana in the mean time? And is it safe for me to smoke it to reduce the pain during my at home abortion?

Hi! That's a beautiful question. I say that instead of smoking Marijuana, you might want to ask your doctor for a nice medicine called as Tramadol. You need to take a capsule or tablet every 6 hours. Tramadol is far better than pot, because it is an opiate (like heroin) and an SNRI antidepressant (like marijuana - though they work differently). What more, Tramadol is legal, and I am sure that your doctor will prescribe it for you. It is cheap, easy to obtain and is more enjoyable than marijuana - remember - You can have a bad trip on marijuana, never on Tramadol. Happy? Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
