Is It Safe To Smoke Marijuana Before Knee Surgery?

I have knee surgery scheduled for next monday and want to know if smoking marijuana will affect that. I'm not going to smoke the day of the surgery but wanted to know how many days prior I should stop. 31 year old male 6'2" 212 lbs healthy this is my first surgery of any kind other than getting my wisdom teeth pulled
