General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, chronic consumption of certain anti epileptic medications do require change of molecule to avoid secondary ill effects over various body systems.

* In comparison with the ill effects of Eptoin, the Torleva is relatively safer molecule and can be started without hesitation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
