Is It Safe To Take Alprazolam For Claustrophobia Before An MRI If I M Already Taking Tramadol Every 3 Hours?

I have a MRI scheduled and have clostrophobia....I am taking 50mg of Tramadol every 3 hours for pain ...Is it safe to take Alprazolam for the MRI procedure, i.e., .5mg (2 tablets 1.5 hours prior to the procedure) and one more if needed 30 min prior to the procedure?
