Is It Safe To Take Augmentin During Pregnancy?

I m 4months pregnant and suffering from cough and cold from last two days. Little feverish, vomited once acidic in nature, with breathing problem. My doctor suggested me to take Asthalin puffs. My pulse rate reached 136/min and BP 94/71. Now doctor suggesting to take Augmentin 625 DUO thrice a day. Is it safe in my condition or I should try something else. Though the breathing trouble is little under control now.
