OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Increased blood pressure and presence of proteins in urine is indicative of pre eclampsia and should be treated effectively to avoid maternal and fetal complications.Yes, you should take antihypertensives which can be safely given in pregnancy. Moreover, you should get your blood pressure charting done, and avoid stressful work, get your relevant blood and urine investigations and follow up with your doctor regularly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
