Is It Safe To Take Cipro For Burning Sensation During Urination?
I have an UTI infection , that was diagnosed as E Coli...after a course of antibiotics.. I went right on in to yeast infection.. am currently taking diflucan. for that.. but the urine is still real cloudy.. looks to have residue in the cup... but now am experincing the same symptons as UTI... burning and spasms upon urinating...have on had cipro 250 mg... should I start taking the antibiotics again?? b
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. From your description I think you are suffering from recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI). You should definitely start antibiotics treatment for self. I advise you to have norfloxacion or ciprofloxacin for the period of at least 5 days. Sometimes recurrent UTI occurs due to incomplete course of antibiotics so please complete the course for complete treatment. Other risk factors for recurrent UTIs include use of a diaphragm and/or spermicides, and tampon use. So it advisable to avoid them. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
