Is It Safe To Take Daphne Pill On The 2nd Day Of My Period?

Good morning... i am now on my second day of my period... can i take Daphne Pills now? I took Excluton last month... I am a diabetic but not high blood... i am 44 yrs old... My youngest is now 13 years old... I smoke... my husband is sexually active... used to have irregular menstruation but for last 6 months its come regularly... i don't want to get pregnant... please help...
