Is It Safe To Take Domstal Syrup For Persistent Vomiting?

Hi Doctor - My Son , right from evening had vomited 8 times. He was OK till evening and we don t know the reason what has triggered the same. We took him to the hospital and the doctor there suggested to give him Domstal syrup (2ml)... is there any additional care to be taken.
