Is It Safe To Take Doxycycline During Conception?

Morning doctor. i slept with my husband last week friday on 11/10/1014. On monday i went to the doctor because i was feeling kidneys pains and low abdominal pain. Now my doctor gave me a doxycycline and said i having an infection. Is this medicine going to give me some problem if im pregnant/

Doxycycline is not considered as a safe drug to take during the period of conception. It can affect the oragnogenesis of the fetus.
