Is It Safe To Take Ecosprin And Duvadilan During Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor!! I am 27 weeks pregnant and my doctor has advised me to take ecosprin 75 and duvadilan retard for 1 month as my mother have history of diabetes and high blood pressure. Please let me know if it is safe for fetus and pregnancy as I have read somewhere that it leads to bleeding sometimes.. Please help.
Hello Duadilan retard i.e.isoxsuprine . This drug can be used in pregnancy whenever necessary but it should be used but SPECIAL PRECAUTION to be taken . This drug can cause MATERNAL PULMONARY EDEMA & FETAL TACHYCARDIA. As far as concerned about ecosprin , it is aspirin and it is anti coagulant & anti platelets . Whenever strong indication is there , we can use this drug in pregnant female. If you have any problems , consult your treating doctor and get his opinion. Good luck.
