General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Isoxilan is a medication that is sometimes prescribed during pregnancy to help prevent preterm labor. However, it is not recommended to take any medication during pregnancy without consulting with your doctor first, as some medications may have adverse effects on the developing fetus.
If you experience any symptoms such as contractions, abdominal pain, or discomfort during pregnancy, it is important to contact your healthcare provider immediately. They will be able to evaluate your symptoms and provide you with the appropriate treatment options.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
