Is It Safe To Take Lariam To Treat Malaria?

We are going to South America for 45 days motorcycling and have to take an antimalarial. Lariat or malarone? Can t afford to be dizzy or hallucinating on a bike. When do the effects of Lariam start and is it with every dose? Same question of malarone Cathy

I really appreciate your concern, anti- malarial if taken as prophylactic then this may not cause any side effect, better not to take this medicine empty stomach, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
