Is It Safe To Take Levest 150/30 For Pain During Periods?

I've been prescribed the Levest 150/30 coated tablets to help with my period pain. However, I'm not sure if I should take them this month because i'm having my final A-levels and i don't want anything to affect my performance eg the side effects of the pills. Is it a good idea for me to take it this month ? Also, will this pill help with my skin? Because it says i may get acnes and i don't want to.
