Is It Safe To Take Mersyndol Tablets To Reduce Chronic Pain In Back And Shoulder?
I take 2 Mersyndol night time tablets each night to help me rest. I suffer chronic back pain from an old injury, osteoarthritis and shoulder pain. I do get rest when I take 2tablets. If I take nothing I am up most of the night with aches and pains, I then keep my husband awake.. Are these two mersyndol each night harming me.I am female and 68years of age. Thank you Grace
Well (acetaminophen) the drug that this medication contains does not have severe lateral effect in using for short time. But when you use it for long time you have to be careful because gastric mucous may be damaged and complications like peptic ulcer and bleeding may occur. So always take that drug after meals (about 1 hour after) and with a full glass of water.
I wish all the best for you! Dr Eriol.
