Is It Safe To Take Micardis Instead Of Concor Which Resulted In Erectile Dysfunction?

I have been taking Concor 2.5mg for past one year after my angoplasty. My problem is that I am loosing sexual desire and facing very serious erection problem. So today my Doc changed Concor 2.5mg to Micardis 40mg. Will this solve the problem of sex issues??

So yes, this is perfectly safe, and I do totally understand the concern here. Concor is what is called a beta blocker and can cause erectile dysfunction, this is a common side effect for men taking this medication Micardis is of a different class of anti-hypertensive medications (called the ARBs) which do not work in the same fashion and erectile dysfunction should not occur with use of Micardis. I think this is a good switch for you!
