Is It Safe To Take Obimet And ChrominacA For PCOD?

Hi, Doctor I m 32yr,got married on Jan 2014 . I am planning to conceive..and consult a doctor. But,after scanning I got to kw of PCOD. Dr. recommend me to take obimet 500 mg, chromiNAC-A, hifolate*. But I m afraid to take these medicines bcoz I haven t been used any alopathy medicines. Pls help me to know the side effects of this medicines.

Nausea,vomiting and diarrhoea. Not all people get these side effects though. Metformin (the component of obimet) can cause weight loss of upto 2 kg over 3 months. However it is not recommended for weight loss alone.
CHROMINAC-A side effects in pregnancy

Using CHROMINAC-A during pregnancy may raise the risk of children developing some disorder (commpon for some such kind of drugs), however it depends upon how CHROMINAC-A ingredients pass through placenta and may have effect on baby – Strength of CHROMINAC-A – 500MCG,0.5MCG,600MG is major factor in determination of such side effects, The possible danger in pregnancy are under research. Ttk Hc. India publish leaflet about CHROMINAC-A every update to describe possible risks of using CHROMINAC-A side effect in pregnancy and pregnant women.
