Is It Safe To Take Olmetec Along With Atacand?

I have been prescribed 16mg of atacand in the morning and 40mg of olmetec in the evening. I have been told by my pharmacist that this is very unusual and these two drugs should not be given together. I am very confused about this and I don t feel particularly well. I would like your comments.

Read your query and understood your health concern.I feel concerned about your health issues.
Based on facts of you query, you seem to suffer from-
40 mg Olmetec would do for 24 hrs good bp control as per latest European standards.
You should avoid taking atacand as this combination is not practiced and is inferior to olmetec in 24 hr control with once a Morning dose or in with added evening dose for better controls.
High dose needs to be taken in Morning to control high bp surge in morning.
