Is It Safe To Take Phenergan For Ant Bite While On Pacemaker?

my husband has been bitten/stung by an ant we think and it is very red and swollen. he is 83 years old and has a pacemaker and medication he is currently taking is nexim, lovan, crestor, sotalol, xarelto. is it safe for him to take a phenergan? please

NO, he CANNOT use the phenergan.

Phenergan CANNOT be used with sotalol. Both of these drugs alter a particular rhythm of the heart and are not to be used together.

He can try benadryl instead for the reaction, this is available over the counter.
